WIP - Black Hoods Cavalry for Saga - Part 3

I've been dealing with a problem with the nerves in my elbow that effect my ability to paint and use the computer. While I wait for a therapeutic brace to arrive, I've resorted to painting in a strange, but not harmful, position. More progress was made on the Black Hoods today. Shading on the pants and coats was completed and blocking in of most of the rest of the figures was completed.

There's still boots and stirrups on the riders, then final detailing before I can continue on to the horses and shields. Time is ticking quickly on the contest deadline for these. I'm trying like heck to finish them on time. It didn't help that I lost a week due to a very nice vacation in Florida two weeks ago. First world problems....

Distressing to hear about your nerve issues—hope you find a remedy & return to normal soon. The figs look fabulous right now. Can’t see that there is much “detail” yet to add.

Thanks Ed. Changes in ergonomics and some thereputic gear may do the trick...hoping.

Five years ago I developed tennis elbow from typing. It took more than 6 months to recover using a brace and a split keyboard. The brace seems strange but you can feel the immediate relief. But remember that you have to be very patient with the condition. Best of luck to you.
